NANA the movie

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

This entry is dedicated to Nana, both the movie and manga, and of course, Ai Yazawa(the great) as well.I've been a fan of the Japanese manga "Nana" by Ai Yazawa for a few years now, last night I went to see the movie with my friend, and just like i expected, Mika Nakashima ruled in it ^__^
The movie was pretty good. I'm glad I tried not to expect anything before. I think the movie kind of suceeded in the aspect of capturing the overall feeling of the original manga. "Nana" was just like "Nana" in the manga! "Hachi" was a little bit too sweet for me. Apart from Nana, Kyosuke, played by Takehisa Takayama , was 99% similar to how he is in the manga hahaha. Some of the cast was pretty strange, for example, "Shin" looked nothing like a 15 year old kid in the movie T_T lol But still me and my friend liked the movie as a whole. Before I went to see the movie, I wondered how far the movie would go since the original manga is still on the run, now I think there'll be a sequel for sure. The way the movie ended was kind of out of my expectation lol

Nana the game

in the movie

in the manga

Aoi Miyazaki as Hachi
Mika Nakashima as Nana (95% alike!!)

Nana kicks ass!*insert hearts*

"Whoa! This girl is truly a beauty!" thinks Hachi. The girls meet for the first time in the train.

Black Stones
in action!

Sometimes I'm afraid the story will end up tragic... I'd be sad if so :( even though I tend to enjoy tragic stories more... :P
